Windsor Man Fights With Troopers During Airport Call Investigation

A suspicious call was made to Bradley International Airport and a man fought with state police during the investigation, a report says.

WINDSOR LOCKS, CT — A 31-year-old Windsor man was taken into custody after he fought with state troopers while they were investigating a suspicious call to Bradley International Airport, according to an arrest report.

State police released the report Tuesday.

At about 9:30 p.m. Monday, troopers went to a home on Pine Lane in Windsor to investigate the call, the details of which were not outlined in an arrest report. When they tried to question Martel O. Davis about the call, he became combative with authorities and fought with troopers, according to an arrest report.

Davis was eventually subdued and taken into custody, according to an arrest report.

David was charged with assault in a public safety officer, interfering with police and failure to comply with fingerprint requirements. He was held overnight on a $150,000 bond and was to appear in Hartford Superior Court Tuesday, records show.

He was also help on an additional $30,000 bond on an outstanding unspecified warrant, state police said.
