Woman Charged with DUI Shortly After Leaving McDonald's Parking Lot

Windsor Locks Police say the woman also had a small amount of marijuana in her possession.

Windsor Locks Police recently arrested a woman on DUI charges shortly after she left the McDonald’s parking lot.

Police said based on the driver’s conduct and officers’ observations, a field sobriety test was given to the driver, Cathryn Mitta.

Mitta, 33, failed the test and was placed under arrest, according to police.

Police said a small amount of marijuana was also found.

Mitta was arrested on July 18 on charges of operating under the influence of alcohol, drugs or both, reckless driving, possession of less than one-half ounce of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
