Woman Cut By Blade at East Windsor Wal-Mart: Report
She said a knife was stuck inside the handle of a shopping cart.

EAST WINDSOR, CT — Police are advising consumers to take extra precautions while shopping, after an East Windsor woman reported she had been sliced by a sharp blade tucked inside a shopping cart handle.
The woman, Kelly Boulay, said she was injured Sunday night at the Wal-Mart on Prospect Hill Road. She wrote on her Facebook page:
"PLEASE BE CAREFUL!!! Tonight while shopping at Walmart in East Windsor I was sliced by a RAZOR BLADE that someone shoved in the cart handle. I’m so goddamn disgusted and upset beyond belief."

Wal-Mart issued a brief statement:
"It’s disturbing that someone would purposely try to injure a customer or associate. We take this matter seriously and have since checked all shopping carts and are currently conducting regular checks."

The Windsor Locks Police Department was among the area agencies posting words of caution to residents.
