$200,000 Donation Made To Woodbury School: Report
The family of a former teacher who died last year made the donation in her memory.
WOODBURY, CT — The family of Dorothy Bessette DeSomma, who lived in Woodbury and taught at Mitchell Elementary School during the late 1960s and early 70s, donated $200,000 to the school, the Republican-American reports. The family wants the funds used for items to help students.
