Woodbury's 4th of July DWI Sobriety Checkpoints and Patrols Set

The goal is to reduce accidents over the holiday.

 

The will conduct a DWI sobriety checkpoints and DWI patrols in the town of Woodbury over the 4th of July holiday.

This is the continuation of an ongoing effort to bring awareness to the dangers or drinking and driving and to discourate individuals who hav ebeen drinking from operating a car, in hopes of reducing the traffic-related accidents and injuries.

While the goal of this operation is to discourage drinking and driving, troopers and officers from the Woodbury resident trooper's office will be aggressively enforcing all motor vehicle laws including speeding, unsafe driving, equipment violations and failure to use seatbelts or properly secure children in car seats.
