Oh yes it is. It is the greatest night of Christmas programming, as it has been since 1965. It's Charlie Brown, and the tree. It's the Christmas pageant. It's Snoopy and the decorating contest. It's Linus in the spotlight. Fire up the Jiffy Pop kids and make room on what my grandma always called the sofa. It's Charlie Brown.

OK, I hate this show, but that Soul Sister number was pretty awesome. Tonight, it's Christmas.

Minute to Win It, 8 p.m., NBC

I love my son's fourth-grade teacher and here's why: For his birthday, he brought in 24 Oreos to class, and she let them do the Minute contest where you lean back, put the cookie on your forehead and you have to get it into your mouth using only your facial muscles. Or, as my son says, "by squinching." He, of course, won, because we do this non-stop in our house. Which explains the crumbs all over the floor.
