UPDATE: Accident Reported on I-84 in Southbury

Update: A rollover that occurred near Exit 14 of I-84 West in Southbury shortly after 4 p.m. has been cleared as of 7 p.m.

Police have released little information on the incident, but information across the police scanner reported one person injured in the accident. That person was reportedly sent to Danbury Hospital.

No patient extrication was needed, according to Southbury Fire Lieutenant Jason Decremer.

The Southbury Fire Department assisted State Police with scene safety and clean-up. Traffic was delayed westbound for several miles during the incident.
