• Blaze Causes Significant Damage To Woodbury Home: FD (patch.com) — Woodbury firefighters battled a pre-dawn blaze that caused significant damage to a ranch-style home on Upper Grassy Hill Road, but the homeowner escaped safely with help from neighbors. Multiple surrounding towns, state police, and the Red Cross assisted as crews knocked down flames running through the attic and turned the damaged property back over to the owner while the fire marshal continues investigating the cause.
   

• Bee Stings Lead To Life-Threatening Allergic Reaction In Woodbury: PD (patch.com) — A Woodbury resident suffered a life‑threatening allergic reaction after multiple bee stings, but quick action by a state trooper and a Woodbury police officer with an EpiPen helped stabilize him until paramedics arrived. The man was transported to a local hospital, and police say recently issued EpiPens and training for officers were crucial in saving his life.
