Neighborhood Restaurant To Close After 10 Years In Business In Middlebury

MIDDLEBURY, CT — Meet Me Here Restaurant and Bar in Middlebury will close after 10 years in business.

The owner made the announcement in a Facebook post, calling it "a very difficult decision, but one I feel is the right time for me."

The restaurant's last day will be Dec. 31.

"This restaurant has been such a huge part of my life, and I truly cannot thank every one enough for all the support, friendship, memories, and laughs we have shared over the years," the owner wrote. "I have met so many wonderful people along the way, and I will always be grateful for each and everyone of you. We still have a few months together, so please come see us..."

The post had garnered 169 reactions and 45 comments as of Thursday morning.

Meet Me Here lists its hours as 4-9 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday and 4-10 p.m. Friday and Saturday.

The New American menu features entrees like tenderloin beef tips, linguini with clams, maple-glazed pork tenderloin and filet mignon, along with a range of appetizers and salads.

The business is located at 564 Middlebury Road.
