The Middlebury Board of Finance has eliminated all overtime other than snow overtime in the Public Works and B&G budgets for the new 13-14 budget. This means that Shepardson Community Center will not be available for use on weekends. This means NO flower sales, NO pasta dinnesr, NO pinewood Derby races, NO Apple Harvest Festivals, NO NOTHING on weekends.
If you agree that this an outrage, go to the Finance Board Meeting April 10th at 7 p.m. at the Firehouse which is a meeting to go over the budget with the public.
