Woodbury Brush Fire Contained; Clean-Up Taking Place
Local fire departments were called to the scene today -- Tuesday, April 17.
A brush fire in the woods at 151 Westwood Rd., Woodbury, is now contained, but the clean-up will take a while, Chief Janet Morgan told Patch.
"Right now I have no clue where or when it started, nor how many acres have burned," Morgan said.

She said a neighbor reported smelling smoke yesterday -- Monday, April 16.
Roxbury Ambulance was on scene bringing bottled water to the firefighters on scene.
The Southbury Fire Department and Washington Fire Department vehicles were seen at the location. Firefighters cautioned against getting too close to the brush fire, as the area contains poisonous mountain laurel.
