Beloved Mother, Wife Karen Lockyer, 71

Karen M. Lockyer, 71, of Middlebury, beloved wife of Douglas Lockyer, died at her home in the presence of her family on Monday, April 22. She was born in Patchogue, NY on April 17, 1942, daughter of the late Arthur and Josephine (Tucker) Ross.

Karen worked as a driver for Connecticut Limousine. She as a parishioner of St. John of the Cross in Middlebury.

In addition to her husband, Douglas, she will be sadly missed by her three daughters, Gretchen Viglione, Karen Jamieson, and Nicole Lockyer; her grandchildren, Robert M. Peploe, Samantha Viglione, Jason and Peter Jamieson, and Brandon Young; and her great granddaughter, Brooke Lynn Peploe. She is also survived by her sister, Geraldine Slocum.

Funeral Information

A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, April 27 at 12:30 p.m. am at St. John of the Cross in Middlebury.
