Bourbon, Brew & Q Fundraiser Featuring Two Country Music Bands Sat., Aug. 6 at Harrybrooke Park

Moonshine and Mason West will be the featured country music bands from 4 to 8 p.m. in New Milford, tickets $10 in advance, $15 at gate

Harrybrooke Park, a not-for-profit organization, will host their second annual Bourbon, Brew & Q on Saturday, August 6th from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m., rain or shine. The event will feature the return of the popular Mason West southern rock tribute band of Wolcott, Connecticut, and Moonshine of Easton, Connecticut, with a taste of today's country sounds.

New Milford’s ‘famous’ Cookhouse, voted “Connecticut’s Best Barbecue” by “Connecticut Magazine”, will offer their award-winning BBQ foods for purchase throughout the event. The Cookhouse’s delicious BBQ dishes will include sweet and savory BBQ and cold beer. Nejaime’s Wine and Spirits in New Milford will sell selections of bourbons and wines. The American Pie Company of Sherman will once again offer a variety of delicious sweets for purchase as well.

Harrybrooke Park’s privately-owned and maintained spacious 48 acres are ‘home’ to the Harden House Museum (now open for tours by appointment), two outdoor event pavilions, a duck pond, a variety of
numerous nature trails, wetlands, a walking/bicycling loop and scenic views of the Still River. In 1965 the Park was generously left in trust for the people of New Milford by the late Frank Harden.
