Budget Passed, Tax Rate Slashed In Woodbury: Report

WOODBURY, CT — By a margin of 455 to 285, the town's budget was approved at a referendum this week, the Republican-American reports. The $34 million approved town budget means the tax rate will decline by 2 percent next year.
