Bullying Lawsuit Filed Against Region 14 School Board: Report

WOODBURY, CT — A lawsuit has been filed against the Region 14 Board of Education as a mother is claiming her child was bullied during the past two schools years while at Woodbury Middle and Nonnewaug High schools, the Republican-American reports.

One of the allegations is that students told the child he or she could kill themself and no one would care. Another allegation is that the child was verbally taunted too, according to the Rep-Am, which may have led to the student self-harming themself. School officials declined to comment citing pending litigation, the Rep-Am reports.
