Car Involved In Tanker Accident Stolen From Woodbury, State Police Report
The accident occurred at approximately 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 27.

A car stolen from Woodbury led police on a chase that resulted in a fiery accident involving the car and a tanker truck, as reported on WTNH.
The accident took place at around 3:30 p.m. today - Tuesday, Dec. 27 - in Southington, in the area of Routes 10 and 322, according to traffic alerts received by Patch. At around 4:37 p.m., the traffic alerts noted the fire was under control.

According to Connecticut State Police Commanding Officer Lt. J. Paul Vance, as reported on WTNH, the fire ignited after the car lost control on Route 10 and slid into the gasoline-carrying tanker.
The suspect was reportedly taken into custody and a trooper taken to St. Mary's Hospital for evaluation, according to WTNH.
