Car Rolls Down Embankment on Straits Turnpike

Two people escaped injury after their car crashed through guardrails and down an embankment on Straits Turnpike near today: Saturday, July 14, according to Middlebury Police Officer Fred Marcantonio.

One lane is open and police are on the scene directing traffic.

Middlebury and Watertown police are assisting and a tow truck is on the scene.
