Congrats! Middlebury Resident Honored for Her Soccer Skills
Julia Cipriano scored the game winner in a soccer match.

Wheaton College junior forward/midfielder Julia Cipriano (Middlebury, Conn./Pomperaug) has been named the New England Women’s and Men’s Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) Women’s Soccer Offensive Player of the Week by the league office, it was announced earlier today.
Last week, Cipriano netted the game-winner in both contests for Wheaton during its 2-0-0 week and three markers total for the Lyons to lead the squad in points with six total. Against Roger Williams, Cipriano potted the game-winner in the 52nd minute to give the Blue and White their first victory over the Hawks since 2011.
Wheaton (2-0-0) hosts Bridgewater State on Saturday, September 6 at Mirrione Stadium at noon.
