Connecticut Couple Continues Comedy Magic Quassy Amusement & Waterpark

Press release from Quassy Amusement Park & Waterpark:

April 27, 2022

Twenty years ago Jim and Sandy Sisti stepped up on Quassy Amusement & Waterpark’s Lakeside Theatre stage for their first comedy magic show at the iconic property.

The Beacon Falls, Conn., couple will return to the park Memorial Day weekend with a new production for Quassy’s 114th season.

“We started at the park 20 years ago but, of course, didn’t perform in 2020 (due to COVID), so this will be our 19th season,” Jim said with enthusiasm as preparations are made for the upcoming show.

The husband-and-wife team has always incorporated some incredible illusions into their 30-minute shows, including a mix of comedy to keep the audiences in stiches.

“We’ll be doing a prediction routine where the audience correctly guesses the contents of a gift box including the price,” Jim said of the 2022 production. “And we have a large illusion called Orbs where colored basketballs are placed into a vertical transparent tube but, when covered, they keep changing their order. This one also has a surprise kicker.” To top it off, they’ll also “make an elephant disappear!”

And not to let the rabbit out of the hat, the Sistis have some other new tricks up their sleeves. The Comedy Magic Of Jim & Sandy Sisti will be presented on Quassy’s Carousel Theatre stage as follows:

• Saturday, May 28 and weekends through June 26: 1, 3 and 5 p.m.

• June 28 starts the full summer slate of 20 shows per week: 1, 3 and 5 p.m. Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Also, 1, 3, 5 and 7 p.m. Fridays and Saturday. No shows on Mondays and on days when the Carousel Theatre stage is used for special events. See the events calendar on the park’s website.
