Crash Under Investigation In Woodbury, Police Say
Police said the vehicle in question likely has damage.
WOODBURY, CT – Police are investigating a crash in Woodbury.
At 8 a.m. Saturday, Officer Mark Defeo discovered a mailbox that had been struck and left in the roadway on Middle Road Turnpike.
The vehicle involved fled the scene before police arrival, police said. During the investigation, Defeo located and recovered a vehicle part identified as a passenger-side (Right Hand) mirror cover.

Vehicle Description: The recovered part is finished in Billet Silver Metallic (Paint Code: PSC). This part is specific to Mopar vehicles and most likely originated from one of the following models: Jeep Cherokee (2014–2022) Jeep Grand Cherokee (2011–2021) Dodge Durango (2011–Present) RAM Pickup Trucks
The vehicle involved will be missing its passenger-side mirror housing and may have additional damage to the front or side, police said.
