'Cry It Out' at Community Theatre at Woodbury

WOODBURY, CT – From March 15-24, Community Theatre at Woodbury will continue its 10th Anniversary Season with a fully staged production of "Cry It Out" by Molly Smith Metzler.
Directed by Erin Gorski, Cry It Out is a comedy with dark edges that takes an honest look at the absurdities of being home with a baby, the power of female friendship, the dilemma of going back to work, and the effect class has on parenthood in America.

Molly Smith Metzler is an award-winning playwright and screenwriter. She is the creator of the Netflix series, Maid, which won a Writers Guild of America award and was named TV Program of the Year by the American Film Institute. Metzler's writing credits include Shameless (Showtime), Casual (Hulu), and Orange is the New Black (Netflix). Cry It Out received its world premiere in the 2017 Humana Festival of New American Plays at Actors Theatre of Louisville.
