The signal on the intersection of Main Street South and Sycamore Road was causing delays in both directions.

A malfunctioning signal at the intersection of Main Street South and Sycamore Road is being repaired, the Republican-American reports.
The signal had backed up traffic on both sides in the past month.
On Thursday, workers from the State Department of Transportation identified a pothole that was disrupting communication between cars and the signal’s control box, the paper reports. Workers repaired the pothole on Friday and will finish additional repairs on Tuesday.
