Dealing with Stress for Families of Children with Special Needs

Learn strategies to manage stress and build and support your family with a special needs child.

Region 15 Parents of 504/IEP Plan Students is hosting Carrie Nelson, therapist, to discuss how to manage stress for families of children with special needs. The meeting will be at the Southbury Public Library Kingsley B meeting room at 6:30 PM June 18th. Children with medical, mental, or developmental concerns from mild to severe can affect families in different ways. Managing stress is important to health and enjoying the best parts of parenting. Ms. Nelson practices family therapy, as well as individual therapy. She has personal and professional insights to share with families of children with extra needs. Join us to learn strategies to build and support your family.
