December Activities at EverWonder

Story Lab for Young Explorers meets onTuesdays and Thursdays at 10:30 am to 11:15 am. This 45 minute program of STEM themed stories, activities, and crafts takes place in the EverWonder classroom. Parents must stay with their children during the program. Program is free with museum admission.

Art Lab: Puffy PaintCome explore texture as you create your next masterpiece with puffy paint.

Tuesday, December 15th
New Art Lab Activities: Spiral Graphs and Coffee Filter Snowflakes Check out EverWonder’s newest art lab activities, Spiral Graphs and Coffee Filter Snowflakes. In Spiral Graphs, patrons will create and design spirals. Spirals are a curve in a plane that run around a central point. In Coffee Filter Snowflakes, patrons will design and cut out their own snowflakes.

Friday, December 18th

Science Lab: Arctic Slime Come make and free play with slime in the EverWonder classroom.

Tuesday, December 22nd to Thursday, December 24th

*Science Lab: Crystal Observation
Purchase a take home kit to grow your own crystals. Kits** are $10 for non-members and $7.00 for members.

Art Lab: Snowflakes
Come paint and decorate snowflake ornaments. Snowflake** sizes range from small ($2.00 for non-members / free for members) to large ($6.00 for non-members / $4.00 for members).

Science Lab: Candy Cane Experiment

Come practice your observation and prediction skills! We will be testing how fast different liquids will melt candy canes.
