Decision Reached on Proposed Middlebury Car Wash

County Line Wholesale, a used car dealership on Straits Turnpike in Middlebury, was looking to add a car wash at its location.

MIDDLEBURY, CT — County Line Wholesale, a used car dealership on Straits Turnpike in Middlebury, received approval from the Planning and Zoning Commission this week to add a car wash at its location, reports the Waterbury Republican-American.

Plans call for the construction of a 2,100-square-foot addition on the front of the dealership to accommodate the car wash. Owner Patrick Bayliss revised the proposal numerous times to finally meet approval.

The parking lot of the County Line Nissan across the street, which is also owned by Bayliss, will be used as a queuing area for cars awaiting a wash.
