Decision Reached on Woodbury's Strong Field Subdivision

Strong Field LLC applied to the Planning and Zoning Commission to build 11 residences off Middle Road Turnpike.

WOODBURY, CT — An 11-home subdivision off Middle Road Turnpike in Woodbury was approved in a close vote by Planning Commission.

The Strong Field LLC cul-de-sac project, which was opposed by some residents because of its density and development of open space, was approved by a 3-2 vote of the commission, reports the Waterbury Republican-American.

Planning Commissioner Chair Kathryn Sherer, and commissioners Louis Alba and Joel Serota, voted in favor of the proposal, while commissioners Andrew Chapman and Eileen Denver voted against it.
