Disabled Residents Who Require Electricity Asked to Call Police ASAP
Police Department hoping to prepare for possible hurricane this weekend

The Middlebury Police Department and First Selectman Thomas Gormley are urging residents with special needs for electricity to call the Middlebury Police at 203-577-4028 ahead of this weekend, according to a press release from Lt. Richard Wildman.
Residents with special needs for electricity can call the Police Department anytime so a record can be made of what is needed.
"No one knows for sure at this point if Hurricane Irene is going to hit Connecticut directly or how it will effect Middlebury, but we would like to do some early preparation for residents with special needs ahead of time," said Lt. Wildman.
