WOODBURY, CT — The town will soon have a disc golf course, which will open Aug. 1, according to The Waterbury Republican-American. The Orenaug Park Disc Course will have nine holes, which will be directed toward average players rather than experts.
Disc golf involves a frisbee-like object that players throw to a series of metal baskets on the outdoor course. The new Woodbury course will be located in Orenaug Park, next to the senior center.
