DUI Arrest After Crash In Middlebury Woods: Report
The incident occurred late Sunday night.
MIDDLEBURY, CT — A 52-year-old New Britain woman was arrested on a charge of Driving Under the Influence Sunday after she crashed her Hummer in the woods off Middlebury Road in Middlebury, reports the Waterbury Republican-American.
Debra Ventura was not injured in the crash, which occurred at about 11:30 p.m., according to police.
Her blood alcohol content reportedly was 0.227, well above the legal limit of 0.08. Ventura was released after posting a $500 bond and is scheduled to appear in court later this month.
