Flanders Nature Center & Land Trust is holding its 5th Artists' Day on Saturday, September 10 when artists are invited to work outdoors in the inspiring surroundings of the Van Velck Farm and Nature Sanctuary, 5 Church Hill Road in Woodbury. Participants are welcome all day. Light refreshments, a map of the center and check-in are available at the Welcome Center from 9 am to 1 pm. Artists in all media are invited to participate. The rain date is Sunday, September 11.
Artists will have several weeks during which to create or finish work before the Flanders Artists' Day exhibit October 8 - 28 at the Woodbury Library. Prizes will be awarded at an artists' reception which will be held at the library on Saturday, October 8 from 2 to 4 pm.
