Borough Days

Step back in time and be entertained with demonstrations provided by local artists and craftsmen and enjoy the music of roving musicians. In its eighteenth year, we are adding a few new and exciting features. In addition to our wonderful woodworkers, rug hookers, and basket makers, we will have: An expanded kids' area with games, crafts, and several scavenger hunts to conquer; a broom maker and a craftsman who will demonstrate traditional American Indian crafts; appearances by Abraham Lincoln; croquet and lawn bowling; and a pie contest, judged by special guest judges. Winning bakers will be awarded prizes graciously donated by local businesses and slices of the pies will be sold to benefit the Historical Society's educational programs. For and entry form and rules, stop by LHS or see this link: http://www.litchfieldhistoricalsociety.org/pdfs/pieform.pdf.

Borough Days is generously sponsored by Litchfield Bancorp.
