Children's Book Reading and Craft

As part of the Woodbury Christmas Festival, Woodbury Author Dianne Parmelee will present a book reading of her new book : SaraFina Mudpie Oinker at Woodbury Public Library on Saturday, December 3rd in the Gallery at 1:00 p.m.  She will share her lovely illustrations from the book and help children with a craft.  Drop in!

  Dianne learned to love animals and the natural world early in childhood, while growing up in Litchfield County CT. Mostly self taught, she has studied art and painting while raising her five children growing up on a family farm. For the past 15 years she has been education coordinator and manages farm
programs at Flanders Nature Center and Land Trust in Woodbury CT, where she resides.

Named Farm Educator of the year in 2008 by Farm-based Education Association for outstanding agriculture education, Ms. Parmelee
continues to share her love of animals with children of all ages.
