For many years it has been the tradition of the Woodbury United Methodist Church members to make their way through luminary lit streets, up the front steps and through the evergreen decorated red doors to worship on Christmas Eve. This is the first service of the night in the town of Woodbury on Christmas Eve. The service will be held by candlelight, and the singing of Silent Night will close the service. The serenity of the service will be broken with the pealing out of the tower bell announcing “Joy to the world, the Lord is come.”
