Flanders Nature Center and Land Trust-Maple Celebration

Flanders Nature Center and Land Trust invites you to our Maple Celebration on Saturday, March 17, 12 - 4 pm

Visit the Sugar House on Church Hill Road in Woodbury for maple syrup demonstrations.  Knowledgeable volunteers will share all the details on how to make sweet maple syrup...from tapping trees, collecting sap, boiling and bottling.  Enjoy candy making demonstrations, listen to Native American stories and learn about Colonial maple facts and skills.

There is something for the whole family to enjoy...food, music, CT Valley Siberian Husky Club dog sled exhibition, pottery making demonstration, bat house building, blue bird nest box building, crafts and activities for children, fiber arts of needle felting, spinning and weaving.
