A branch fell across a power line on Brushy Hill Road around 10:54 p.m. Monday, May 20, causing a power outage in the area.
Woodbury Police Officer Alex Roberts said power will likely be restored in a few hours.
CL&P has to cut power to the line in order to allow fire officials to investigate and put out any potential fires in the area, said Dave Lampart of the Woodbury Fire Department.
