Connecticut Pops Holiday Performance
The Connecticut Pops will perform its second annual family holiday concert, Sleigh Ride – Celebrating the Season with Music from Around the World, on December 8th at 3:00 pm. The concert wil be held in the Mainstage Theatre of Naugatuck Valley Community College, 750 Chase Parkway, Waterbury. Admission is free. The theme of the concert is a multicultural trip around the world , sampling holiday music from different countries, both unique and familiar pieces. CT Pops is a 30 piece band that is in residence at NVCC. The show includes the music from Polar Express, dancers, and a slide show as well as raffles for both children and adults. The concert is suitable for families with children of all ages.
