Farmer Seriously Injured In Woodbury Crash: State Police
The local farmer was riding a tractor at the time of the motor vehicle accident.

WOODBURY, CT — A local farmer riding on a tractor suffered serious injuries after being struck by a car Wednesday afternoon, State Police say.
Barjam Hoxha, 60, of Minortown Road, was traveling southwest on Route 6 approaching the intersection of Quassapaug Road and Daniel R. Logue, 64, of Artillery Road, was riding a John Deere farm tractor pulling a corn planter, while traveling northwest on Quassapaug Road attempting to cross the intersection of Route 6.
Both vehicles collided within the intersection and Logue was thrown from the tractor and sustained serious injuries, State Police said. Both men were taken to Waterbury Hospital. The accident occurred just after 5 p.m.
