Firemen Reflect on 9/11
Local firefighters recall the historic event on its 10th anniversary.
As you enter the Danbury Fire Department on New Street, you are immediately greeted by two large displays dedicated to Sept. 11.
The boards are colorful, much like the firefighters themselves, and filled with respect and dedication to the memory of those who lost their lives during the tragic event.
In the accompanying video, Danbury Fire Chief Geoff Herald, Assistant Fire Chief Robert Keenan and Lieutenant Tyler Bergemann share their thoughts and recollections of Sept. 11.
