Furniture Studio Permit Denied in Woodbury

WOODBURY, CT —York Street Studios zoning application was denied without prejudice by the Zoning Board of Appeals.

The studio is being relocated from Washington Road to Main Street North and the permit was denied due to inconsistent mailings to neighbors, according to the Republican-American. The studio can apply again.

The issue at hand is whether the studio qualifies for a special exception to continue using a building as a nonconforming use.
