Good News Middlebury Taxpayers
Middlebury is the first town in Connecticut in three years to receive the upgrade.

MIDDLEBURY, CT — Good news Middlebury taxpayers as Moody's, a bond rating agency, has upgraded the town's credit rating from Aa2 to Aa1, the Republican-American reports. And while that may not sound overly exciting the news is definitely good as Moody's said the town has a "modest amount of debt outstanding," the Rep-Am reports.
Middlebury is the first Connecticut community to have its bond rating upgraded in three years, local officials told the Rep-Am. Taxpayers will save on future bonding projects due to the upgrade.
