"It's a Wonderful Life" Day Features Carriage Rides, Movie Screening
The 3rd annual "It's a Wonderful Life" day will take place in downtown Seymour and feature carolers and breakfast with Santa.
Downtown Seymourβs 3rd annual βItβs a Wonderful Lifeβ Day will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday, December 5.
Festivities include:
- The transforming of local businesses into locales from the film
- Breakfast with Santa
- Horse drawn carriage rides through the downtown district
- Strolling carolers
- Country Christmas Dinner at the General Store
- Live holiday piano by renowned local jazz artist, Joe McWilliams
- Bells ringing throughout the day to grant angelsβ wings
- Surprise runnings of George Bailey through town shouting βMerry Christmas, Bedford Falls!β
Events continue throughout the day and culminate with a screening of the classic holiday film on the big screen at the historic Strand Theatre, 165 Main St., Seymour.
