Jerry Stomski, former Woodbury First Selectman, seriously injured!
Stomski Family needs our Prayers, Woodbury resident Art McNally writes.

We learned late Saturday, March 28th, that former Woodbury First Selectman Jerry Stomski suffered significant injuries from an explosion in his garage while servicing a small gasoline engine. It is not clear whether the “gas explosion” was due to a household fuel leak or from the gasoline used to fuel the device he was servicing.
What we know is Jerry was transported to a trauma center with potentially life-threatening burns. No more information was available at that time. It was later learned that he had to be placed in an induced coma. See news link below.

Those of you who believe in the power of prayer are asked to include Jerry and his family in your devotions. Everyone else is asked to embrace positive thoughts about Jerry’s recovery. He and Joan and family might benefit from our positive energy and good wishes.
