Jim Frey of Woodbury's Walker Road Vineyards Receives Wine Award

Jim Frey, owner of Walker Road Vineyards in Woodbury, was recently named Connecticut "Wine Person of the Year" by Amenti Del Vino out of Mystic, reports the Waterbury Republican-American.

The prestigious state award is voted on by a panel of expert judges, and a grateful Frey told the publication that he is proud of the honor.

Walker Road Vineyards is perhaps best known for its Red Table Wine, which is dry and full-bodied. The wine has been honored with other awards in recent years.
