Learn How Boston Heart Diagnostics Can Keep Your Heart Healthy
Heart health presentation at Ob/Gyn practice in Middlebury, Connecticut, on Oct. 10

Naugatuck Valley Women’s Health Specialists (NVWHS), the Ob/Gyn practice in Middlebury, is presenting a free informational program on heart health at its Middlebury office Tuesday, Oct. 10, at 7 p.m.
Representatives of Boston Heart Diagnostics will be on hand to discuss ways in which women can reduce risks for cardiovascular diseases—the leading cause of death for women in the U.S. Women may not be aware that 80 percent of patients who suffer a heart attack have normal LDL cholesterol, for example, or that having prediabetes or diabetes may increase risk.
Boston Heart Diagnostics is transforming the treatment of cardiovascular disease by arming healthcare providers and patients with personalized diagnostics and reports that come with customized lifestyle programs to improve heart health.

Advanced blood testing done through the Boston Heart Diagnostics program goes beyond “good” and “bad” cholesterol to give a more complete picture of heart health. Easy to understand reports are color-coded: Green is optimal, red is high risk and yellow is borderline.
The Boston Heart Lifestyle Program also provides a personalized Life Plan covering diet, exercise and more, and those who choose to participate through NVWHS will have access to personalized support from the practice’s Certified Nutrition Specialist (CNS), Peggy Krotzer.
