Ricky Byrd's Clean Getaway All-Stars – A Benefit for McCall Foundation - September 19th at the Nancy Marine Studio

National Recording Artists and Connecticut residents, Lucinda and Michael, will be part of a special night of music with a bold message: Addiction Recovery, Ricky Byrd’s Clean Getaway All-StarsA Benefit for McCall Foundation will take place on September 19 at the Nancy Marine Studio Theatre at the Warner Theatre in Torrington, CT (8:00PM)

With heartfelt lyrics, strong and memorable pop and rock melodies, and an undeniable stage presence, Lucinda Rowe and Michael Connolly, who grew up in Newtown, have captured a loyal audience throughout the country. Whether as an acoustic duo or with a full band, Lucinda and Michael have performed with or opened for many well-known artists such as Pat Benatar, Eddie Money, Patty Smythe and Scandal, Tony Bennett, KC and The Sunshine Band, Stevie Nicks, The Guess Who, The Monkees, The Georgia Satellites, Sophie B. Hawkins and numerous others. Recent tours have taken them to the Gulf Coast of Florida and Alabama, Key West, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, New York and Boston. Their last radio single was a National Top 20 hit and their newest releases “Songs from the Shed Volume I and II” are being aired nationally from Nashville to Connecticut. They are both award winning songwriters with awards and showcases from the Songwriters Hall of Fame and National Academy of Popular Music in New York City. Additionally, Lucinda and Michael have received five Humanitarian Awards for their musical endeavors performing for people and families affected by or living with HIV and AIDS.

Lucinda and Michael will be joined onstage by Peter Gallinari, a Nashville based award winning songwriter and keyboardist with strong New York roots. Peter has toured and recorded with of rock & roll legends, including Richie Scarlett, Ace Frehley, and Leslie West & Mountain.

Ricky Byrd, who was recently inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame w/ Joan Jett And The Blackhearts, will lead his Rock ‘N’ Roll showcase boasting Rock and Roll/Blues and Soul legend Bonnie Bramlett (of Delaney and Bonnie) as a special guest, as well as Liberty DeVitto (Billy Joel), Christine Ohlman (lead vocalist of the Saturday Night Live band), Kenny Aaronson (Bob Dylan, George Harrison), Andy Burton (John Mayer, Robert Plant, Ian Hunter), and Bobby T Torello (Johnny Winter, Black Oak Arkansas).

This concert event will benefit the Torrington, CT-based McCall Foundation, which is dedicated to treatment and prevention of alcohol and drug abuse. A limited number of tickets are available for a pre-show VIP, which includes meet and greet with the All-Star line-up and a Clean Getaway goodie bag.
