Middle Schoolers Donate Big to Middlebury Food Bank
In an annual competition, students from Memorial Middle School donated canned goods to the Middlebury food bank.

The students and staff at Memorial Middle School in Middlebury donated over 2,000 canned goods and nonperishable food items to the Middlebury Food Bank today.
In this annual friendly competition, the sixth, seventh, and eighth graders competed with each other and the staff to see which group could donate the most items.
“We more than doubled our contributions from last year,” sixth grade teacher Mr. John Morris said in a press release. “The students collected items in school, at Dinova’s Market, and at a recent school dance. The students and staff blew the lid off our target numbers and, for that, we are so proud of their generosity!”
