Middlebury was ranked the 19th safest community in Connecticut according to Safe Choice Security, which consulted the 2012 FBI Crime Statistics report to get the inside scoop on the 20 safest cities to live in Connecticut. After comparing FBI statistics on property and violent crime rates in cities around Connecticut, Safe Choice compiled their list of the top 20 safest cities and towns in Connecticut.

Middlebury, CT is the other smallest city on our list and is located in New Haven County in central Connecticut.
