Middlebury Budget Passes with Small Increase
Voters passed the budget by a comfortable margin.

MIDDLEBURY, CT — Voters passed the municipal budget with 65 percent approval Wednesday. The budget comes with a $200,000 increase over the current year.
The increase will result in a .48 mill increase up to 31.49 mills, according to the Republican-American. A home assessed at $200,000 would pay an additional $96 in property taxes.
Turnout for the vote was 21 percent of registered voters.
