Middlebury Considers New Senior Living Complex

The property in question previously received zoning approval for such a use.

Middlebury, CT - A new senior housing complex could be in Middlebury's future, if a local commercial realtor's plan comes to fruition.

David Theroux, managing partner of Drubner Commercial Real Estate, owns a nearly 12-acre parcel between Regan and Stevens roads that previously received town zoning approval for a 55-and-older housing complex, reports the Waterbury Republican-American.

The past approval was for a 24-unit complex, but Theroux, who would would have to re-apply for zoning approval, believes the project's density might have to be increased to make it economically viable.
