Middlebury Man Arrested After Attempting to Outrun Police
Ramadani, 21, charged with reckless endangerment after attempting to elude state police.

A Middlebury resident was arrested for reckless endangerment early Wednesday morning after attempting to outrun police in his car to avoid being stopped for speeding on a suspended license.
Dardan Ramadani, 21, of 3 Foster St. Middlebury was driving with two passengers on I-84 in Cheshire when state police attempted to pull him over for driving approximately 82 mph in a 55 mph zone.
State police say that — instead of stopping — Ramadani turned off his lights and sped off the highway at exit 26. After passing a car on the right and driving through a red light, Ramadani attempted to hide his car behind a building.
Police caught up with Ramadani and discovered that he was driving on a suspended license.
Ramadani was charged with failing to return his license following suspension, driving with a suspended license, speeding, reckless driving, passing on the right, failing to obey traffic signals, failing to keep his lights lit and reckless endangerment.
Ramadani was released on a $2,000 bond.
